You may all be familiar with the story of the Beauty and the Beast. But there is another story of the Handsome and the Beast. If you have heard it then no need to read further. If you haven't then the story goes like this. The Handsome met the Beast in the jungle. He tried to kill it because it looked so monstrous and hence threatened the Handsome's aesthetic sensibility. He aimed his arrow at the Beast's heart while the Beast stood thinking, 'one kiss is all I need'. The arrow pierced the Beast's heart. It screeched and screeched until the screech turned into a shrill wail. There lay on the wild grass the Beauty with a Bleeding heart. The Handsome was frightened. He remembered his fiancee's great grandparents. He had heard that the great grandfather was a Beast who turned into a Prince the moment the great grandmother kissed him. 'Well, how was I supposed to know?', he thought and looked at the writhing form of the Beauty. She smiled painfully and yelled, "Oh God!! He is more handsome than my ex-lover". Even in that grave situation where he could really feel the smell of a grave the Beauty's words flattered him. He started shouting for help, "somebody call an ambulance..there's a young lady who needs medical assistance". The Beauty stared at him with unblinking eyes and thought 'he's quite stupid'. She saw him running repeating the cry for help and never saw him again, which made her change her opinion about the Handsome. She told herself "after all he is not as stupid as I thought him to be." She wished she had carried some painkillers in her handbag. Meanwhile, the Handsome went back home, turned his fiancee into his wife and lived happily ever after. The Beauty's lifeless decaying body was later found by a woodcutter who buried her under an oak tree.
